If it has an overhead cam, then it might have a bad cam position sensor that fails when it gets hot and shuts the engine off to try to keep it from being damaged if the car jumped time.your ecu is getting or giving theinformation and if you cant find afault its probably a fault with the ecu itself...

The problem was a bad connection at the engine coolant temp sensor which was aggravated by vibration, and the fix involves a number of relatively inexpensive parts including a heat shrink sleeve, a length of coolant sensor wiring, and a gold plated repair kit.
