Usually if a fuel pump goes out, the car just will not run. Its not an intermittent thing. If the pump is in the gas tank, you can hear it running when the ignition is on. It may be more a problem with injectors, a hole in the fuel line, clogged fuel filter.........the possibilities are endless.Where do I buy Edelbrock shocks at?
the reason for your needle acting up is your fuel reguator, it is found at the top of most fuel tanks. about 90 bucks if you replace it yourself, but it can be a pain in the neck to do. your fuel pump is probably going out. it has nothing to do with the needle so you need to get that checked out. but before i change the fuel pump i would change the fuel filter its only about 10 bucks if you do it yourself. if it doesnt run better after you change the filter your next step is the pumpchange 220 volts ac to 415 volts ac though a inverter?
You can tell when yor fuel needle starts to not work and when u turn your car/truck on and hear a high pitch noise b4 you start it coming from the fuel pumpAlternator belt, and power steering belt?
If you listen carefully,You should be able to hear a faint winding noise when you turn on iginition. Maybe even a clicking noise. Good LuckMore Questions & Answers ...
