My 06 envoy sat for a day and a half,nothing left on.went to start it yesterday and it was dead!why?

I wonder if the GM anti-theft security disables the starter on your car? Otherwise, remove the battery cables and clean them with a wire brush. Then check the "parasitic current draw" from the battery by connecting a Digital Multimeter (DMM) set for the 10 Amp scale between one post of the battery and the cable that normally connects to it. After the engine has been shut down for an hour, you should read less than 1/4 ampere (250 milliamperes) of parasitic current draw. Make sure all the doors are closed and all the courtesy lamps are off including the under hood light. Remove and replace fuses one by one to track down the circuit which is drawing too much current.
