7.3 diesel has a fuel leak?

hi ' i heave a 99 ford E-350 with a 7.3 diesel and it
looks like its leaking fuel from the water over flow i been told , where the fuel filter its located on the top ; if you know what part is faulty and may be give me a tip how to fix it ?., thanks for the help

Fuel leaks are easy to fix, usually a loose screw or an old hose.

there is a pump and a filter in that area. my bet is the pump. they do leak at times.

there is a drain valve in the back of the fuel filter housing that is common failure.
