Question:
I did the test on the wheel bearings. Where you get up to speed and pull the steering wheel from right to left to see if the noise stops. The noise stopped when I pulled right--meaning I should replace the left wheel bearing. I had that done yesterday and it is STILL making the same roaring sound when I go down the road.
Brakes and rotors were checked. The only other thing I can come up w/is the CV joints?
What would cause a truck to attempt to start without the key in the ignition?
When I pull to the left the noise continues. My engine is fine, my tires are fine, the steering isn't pulling....I cannot figure it out. The noise is insanely loud...not to mention annoying.
Would "assmouth p" please reply to questions it knows something about.?
Thanks for ANY help!

Why is my 94 oldsmobile smoking? PLEAZZZE help!?
if the noise goes away when you steer back and forth, then I'm sure it is a wheel bearing. I'm also sure it is a wheel bearing because they are notorious for being bad on these cars. I've seen Aleros that had to have all four wheel bearings replaced. It is probably the other side though. I've made the mistake before and so have others I know. It's called "wheel bearing rotation". LOL. This method is time consuming but sooner or later you'll find the bad bearing! No really, the proper way to diagnose it is to use a wheel spinning device. Yeah, I know, everyone's got one of those right? I'd never seen one until I started working here at Delphi with the Chassis group who make the wheel bearings. It's an electric motor that spins a drum that you put under each wheel and spin it while listening for noise. I was going to try it once but you still need another person to sit in the car and listen.
these noises can be very deceiving when driving down the road. Are you sure it's in the front?

Go to the wheel allignment shop, tel him to raise the front portion and check the Hubs for any play in bearings. get the Brake disk covering for may be its loose. He will also check CV Joint of axel. Then he may tell you what all you got to fix from workshop. Ok.
