Timing belt vs. Timing Chain. which is better?

Question:
Please tell me the pros and cons first, then tell me the life expectancy of these two, next tell me how often to replace and check, and last, but not least, which is the best.

1994 nissan maxima engine problem?

Belts are used because they're lighter and quieter. They require replacement every 50,000 to 60,000 miles on average and a lot of work to do as well as a lot of damage to an engine if they do break. Chains can last the life of the engine, can get noisier with age as they develop slack. Personally I've done the belt replacement several times over the years on my vehicles and I hate doing them, I'd take a chain any day if I could choose.

Are the taillights on a 2003 and 2001 Lincoln LS interchangeable?

I hear chain because they are less prone to break as belts break more often...but heck I'm not sure....
