I need some help with my 1991 chevy cavalier.?

Question:
my car's parking lights and instrument panel lights are out. i checked the fuses and they're good. all the parking lights' bulbs are'nt broken. i checked them by turning on the hazard lights and they all flashed. i can't figure out what the problem is. my dad sais there might be a short somewhere. i would really appreciate it if anyone could give me some advice as to what the problem is. thanks.

how do you change a alternator belt on a 95 isuzu pick up?

1991 cavalier? it's your switch (Where you turn the little arm to turn on your lights.) I can almost 1000000% guarantee it. I would go to a junkyard and pull one and replace it. the headlights/parking lights/panel lights are all controlled by that one switch. Since you have eliminated fuses and bulbs, it's the only thing left.

Battery light staying on?

parking lights are not the same circuit as hazards. there are 2 separate circuits to your lights. all that you told me is the ground is good. change a bulb(pn#1157) and see if it works, if not recheck the fuses and the light switch.
