I have a 1999 grand am i want to put 20" rims on it what size tires do i need?
the vin is a registaration number unique to each vehicle. it gives all the information about a vehicle at the time of its manufacture, and has nothing to do with whether a certain size engine will fit in the engine compartment. if the physical size of the engines allow the swap, that is all you need consider.an example. a small block chevy engine has identical engine sizes, but different manufactured internal sizes. the 305, 289, 350, 396 are all on the same block, just bored to different sizes when they are machined at the factory. the inside diameters of the cylinders are different, but the blocks themselves are the same size.
Clutch replacement help for '97 S10.?
The vin tells you what engine the manufacturer installed at the factory (8th or 10th letter). Just remember, if you ever sell the truck, better tell the buyer up front about a different engine, the parts are different.Of course it won;t work. Can you change your birthday....duh.
I have a 92 silverado 350 tbi its fine while moving but when i stop it stalls?
You can forget that idea, its quite impossible to put that 4.0 in yours, your best bet is to get another rig with the 4.0 engine.I had the ranger with the 4.0 and it was a great truck.Good luck finding the right truck for you.More Questions & Answers ...
