My car, parked at my home, is flat. It has been WAY too cold out for the last few weeks(-3 degrees)to change tire myself. There is a tire shop literally around the corner from our building. Is driving to the tire shop a risk worth taking? (Also, I tried fix-a-flat, but the liquid wouldn't even go into the tire, so that option is out). Thanks.

i hit a pothole it bent my rim i drove my focus with hazard lights on for 3 miles . I only did 5 mph but once I got therim replaced I had the tire remounted onto the new rim I am still driving it with no problems.oohh and best of all its a firestone tire.Do you know what this wire connector is ?

You CAN drive there slowly. BUT EXPECT to BUY another tire when you get there which is a little bit higher than a repair. Why don't you call the tire store or a mobile repair shop to come and fix it, or a tow truck to take it there?Ya won't die, but you will pay for the "convenience."

No, don't drive on a flat tire.You will destroy the integrity of the sidewall of the tire and it will then need to be replaced as opposed to just needing to be patched or plugged. You also run the risk of damage to the wheel, which is almost certain.
If the leak is a slow one, ask the garage to loan you an air tank and you can fill up the tire and then drive the vehicle over to the shop.
