Why does my 19993 ford F-350 diesel truck die during deceleration?

Question:
The truck hard starts and I am changing the batteries, but am told this has nothing to do with the truck dieing. It will restart immediately with no problem, but will die, the next time I encounter a stop sign etc. However if I shift into neutral in advance of a stop light It will idle correctly and I can shift into gear with no problem

Is there any special tips to maintain turochargers in heavy vehicles?

The Idle needs to be increased, turn small screw on injection pump clockwise about 1/2 turn. Good idea to make sure all filters have been changed as well, not much else on that engine.... good luck

Brake light flashes on the dash in my 1990 Chevy Silverado...plz help?

The fuel filters could be clogged or the idle needs to be raised if the filters are clean...most diesel pickups need filters changed every 15,000 miles.
