Question:
I have been looking trough ebay for a replacement bulb for the tag in my car. I saw a couple of sellers displaying LEDs instead of Bulbs (LEDs are the type of bulb that luxury imported cars use and not the "resistance" type american cars use), so my question is this, will a LED last longer or the same? is it as bright as a regular bulb? I know leds are not recommended for turn signals or stop lights bc of the fast blinking rate due to the underload bulb-out system most cars have, the only use i plan on those bulbs will be for the tag mounted light and maybe the interior of my car (just to make it look brighter and neat), thanks 4 the answers

At least how many kilometers do we have to replace the timing belt and water pump?
LED bulbs last longer and are brighter but may not be DOT approved in your state. You could end up getting a ticket and having to switch back to the regular ones.Where can I find a site to order missing plastic pieces for the inside of my 2000 VW Beetle?
leds are the only way to go. they are just as brite, and will last up to 3 times longerMy car won't start, but my lights, radio, heat, etc is fine (except they're a little dim)?
LED's can be a bit brighter than the regular incandescent style bulbs. They use less electricity to operate, and they are said to last longer. You can use them for turn signals. if you look, you will find that many semi-trailers are using them for turn signals, because they are brighter and don't burn out as oftenled they last longer and more powerful
