what kind of bulb is it? if it's a regular incandescent light bulb, I have ot suspect it's an over current situation, or a shitty run of bulbs if you got them from the same box. If it's on of those quartz tubes then try not touching the lamp with your fingers, the oils from our skin can cause hot spots and kill it that way cuz it burns so hot.Don't Range Rovers, Volvos, Fords and other non-Japanese cars break down all the time?
take a good look at the small pins at the base of the bulb sometimes one side is higher than the other if they are the wrong bulbs then they will short accross the connection i had a vaux nova do this but it was great because if you kept your foot on the brake and turned off the ignition the engine would still run!1994 GEO Metro won't start will someone please help me?

get a volt meter, and see what the voltage is.very rarely, the voltage is too high.
this happened in a hotel i once stayed in.
there was a serios mistake in the wiring, that allowed 1/2 the hotel to have low voltage, and the other 1/2 to have high voltage.
