Actually, this sounds odd, but that happens to me too and my mechanic told me to clean my windows normally, then put a little bit of shampoo on paper towel and rub that into the windscreen on the inside. Rub until it's gone and don't wash it off.What involved in fixing an oil leak on 1990 camry?
This stops it from fogging and it's inexpensive. I always use shampoo and it works like a treat.

Spit works. Works on swim goggles, and ski masks. But it takes quite a bit to do a windshield.Take some liquid dish soap and a paper towel and put the soap on the towel and smear it evenly on your window almost to the point of getting it all off.(but not) you are trying to leave a thin film on the glass. It works. It will last you thru a shower. Next day, wipe down and resoap it again for the fog will wash the soap off.
Just a note here on your "winding down the window". You don't need to wind it fully down.a half inch crack is enough for what that does is allow air to circulate around your head and infront of the window and move the moisture laden warm air away from the glass, replacing it with cooler drier air.
Mind you if your hair is wet and your jacket is wet you can be sure it is gonna get foggy in there so as soon as you are in the car, open the window. Where is your window defroster fan?
i have a honda accord & use the a/c while the heat is all the way in the red. the windows defog and your not cold.
