Why does my car keep stuttering?

Question:
anytime i make a stop or park,my car stutters. the rpms shoot up to 4 and the temp guage sits right in the middle,and the lights flutter in and out. any ideas?

Mass air flow sensor sound like your car is trying to die and its still picking up a Lil. if you check engine light is on have your codes tested and it should show up as P0171 which is a bank 1 code and P0174 which is a bank 2 code if they are both set together it is a mass air flow or MAP sensor depending on what make and year your vehicle is. if you have any more questions regaurding this email me a wparks40004@yahoo.com
