If you mean "can i switch over to synthetic oil" you can do that at your next scheduled oil change. In fact many vehicles are now coming from the factory with synthetic oil in them as the use of regular or synthetic oil makes no difference in engine break in.

Whenever you want, there are too many myths about synthetic oil. As long as the manufacturer doesn't specifically forbid it - like Mazda for Rx8's, make your next oil change a sythentic one.

you can do iy any time but why? Use a blended and save a lot of money over full synthetic. The main thing is to properly maintain your engine and you can do that with most any oils these days since many brands are bottled at one location just different packages
