Dash Lights coming on in my 2002 Buick Century. Any ideas?

Question:
We just bought a 2002 Buick Century and occasionally when we turn on the engine and drive it three dash lights come on. The lights are "Anti-Lock" "Service Vehicle Soon" and "Trac Off". They are all orange lights. We can't get the lights to come on consistently. Sometimes they come on and stay on until we turn off the car, but usually they don't come on at all. Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong? Does it sound serious?

What's the problem with my '97 Lumina?

Either your sensors are faulty or each one of those systems have an issue. I know some vehicles (including a vehicle I used to own) will reset there fault lights every time you shut the car off and will not come back on until something triggers it again. Go and have your car scanned to see if you have any fault codes and if not then your lights are faulty on your dash.

How to fix a car that starts and in 20 minutes of warm up it goes off?

sounds like an electrical problem in the dash cluster.doesn't sound serious if the vehicle runs good. could be an expensive fix though trying to track the issue down. good luck

I have a bad exhaust valve and it causes a misfire. Is this a serious problem?

sounds like your brake system is having a problem, or the sensors are faulty, or the computer has an errant electron running amok.

When I make right turns and go over SOME bumps in my car I hear a slight knocking sound...What could this be?

Yes, these are warning lights for each of those areas, telling you that there may be an intermittent problem with each system.Take to a repair garage and get a diagnostics test done.If you bought the car from a dealership.Take it back to them.Auto Zone will also do a diagnostic test for free. You should do this asap.

I have a small chip in my windscreen. If i get it repaired with resin, will it hide it as well as protect it?

If you have any kind of warranty, get it in soon and have it checked over. Get documentation on service receipts of when ( date ) and what kind of problems you are having. This is so that if the problem is not corrected during warranty time you can show that the problem started in time for them to keep working on it until it is fixed. A technician needs to download trouble codes to find the problem(s). It has to be at a time the lights are coming on, don't turn the car off when you take it in if the lights are on. The "service vehicle soon" just may be a light reminder for maintenance checks and just need the light turned off, the "anti lock" and the "trac off" could be more involved problems.
