i alredy posted this question on a Dodge forum and havnt rec'd any answers. i shud have known to start out here. everyone has been so helpful in the past. Does any know what the parts list consist of for a 2001 dodge stratus? i know this sounds elementary but, i need to know if im gon do it. i'd rather know what im looking for before i get to autozone or where ever im gon get the parts. thank you in advance!!

So make sure you need it, first just look in the manual for the preventative maintenance intervals, if it lists miles and months pretty much disregard the months, the miles make the difference. These will give you an indication of the parts you may need.
There are very few replacement maintnenance parts left on cars.
Fuel Filters, Air Filter, Plugs, Wires, PCV Valve, the filters should always be replaced regularly, the Plugs and wire typically will tell you they need replacing. I know many don't beleive it but the manufacturer is usually pretty close on P.M. they hate replace things under warranty.

It really depends on if you have the Stratus Coupe or the 4 door sedan... the coupe was manufactured between 2001 and 2005 by Mitsubishi and is a completely different car from the 4 door which was built by Chrysler... the coupe is based on the Mitsubishi Eclipse platform with both a 2.4 litre 4 and 3.0 litre 6 cylinder engines built by Mitsubishi and the 4 door had a 2.4 litre Chrysler engine and a 2.7 litre 6 cylinder Chrysler engine... all engines have completely different parts... so I would advise you to see the service adviser/parts manager at Autozone as to which parts you will need !99Chevy venture,radiators full,low coolant light comes on??
plugs (factory equivalent no elcheapos) good set of wires, pcv valve,air filter,fuel filter,good fuel injection cleaner recommend (sea foam) local parts stores. buy the way most plugs and wires good for 100,000 miles it depends on owner of car how many miles is it due for coolant flush and refill ,what about oil how many miles on oil. do it all at one time good luck hope this helpsIs a 65 rambler worth restoring?
