My clutch is going out on my truck wut do i need?

i have a 2002 ford f150 v6 2wd truck and my clutch is getting to be more of a pain to take off or switch the stick shift wont pop to the next gear

have you checked the fluid in your transmission? try that before getting clutch work done, as it is expensive.

New clutch and have someone who is very experianced check out the way you drive. You could be burning it out. 2002 should still be good unless you have over 80000 miles.

did you check the slave cylinder?what about the oil(or grease)in the tranny,is it low?it might need adjusted.but if your going to change the clutch,then you probably need a clutch disc,pressure plate,throw out bearing,also check the flywheel face,and see if theres any cracks,or it needs turned.also change the pilot bearing.
