is it me or are these cars crap? I only have about 80k miles on mine and it's falling apart really fast. So far i have to get my exhaust fixed which Midas is trying to charge me 500 bucks, i also got something wrong with my heater. It makes a loud sound when i turn my heat off and when i have it on i smell something burning at 55+ Oh did i mention my hub bearings are getting crappy also =\

anyways my question is anyone else have a crap load of problems with there sunfire at 80k miles?

My question back at you be simply...Why did you buy a car if you weren't going to do any maintenance on it or if your didn't expect things to have to be repaired?

I have a 2003 Saturn Vue 4cyl., 5spd with almost 75K on it. It has essentially the same drive train as your Sunfire with the 2.2L Ecotec, and I haven't had any problems. But then I do the scheduled maintenance on my vehicle.

As far as your heater, did you change the coolant out and have the system flushed at the 5 year mark? Do you have aftermarket wheels on your car? That is a sure way to make sure your hubs go bad prematurely. Especially if you drive like a speed demon.
