You have a PATS (passive anti-theft system) issue. The ONLY way to fix it is to tow it to your local Ford dealership where they have the proper scan tool to check for codes on the PATS system. Basically the fast flashing indicator means the PATS module is not recognizing the key you are using to attempt to start your vehicle.how could i start my own shop?

Also, it could be something with your anti-theft coded ignition key and the computer is not picking up the proper code to allow the key to turn over your vehicle. Have you tried your second key you got with your vehicle to see if that is an issue?
If that does not start I would probably take it to Ford and have them place it on a computer to determine the trouble code with the vehicle as to why it is not starting.
Can anyone out there tell me how much an Alpha Romeo rear bumper bar costs to replace?
My car has the same thing. You have to wait about 10-15 minutes then try to start it again. Take the key out first, and don't delay when you turn the key to start it again. Its a theft system in case you leave your keys in the car.
