additional damage found later- +$1388
my geico insurance rep said it would probably be finished 1/2/07.
apparently a part was refused and another had to be ordered.
now they say maybe 1/12/07.
i didn't take the rental car option, can't afford one, and it's a b*&%# to get to work and school with no car for a whole month. do i have a valid complaint or is this just the way it is?

It all depends on how much damage is found when the repair work starts. the date is only a guess. Call the body shop and go their and complain. the more you push them the faster you get your car back.How do you add power steering fluid to a 1999 lumina?

Pretty much just the way it is. Unfortunately insurance reps do not see all the damage. When the body shopman starts to repair the vehicle, most of the time they find more damage. Its only one more week, hang in there.There is a loud whine that disappears when I put my foot on the clutch?

Doing frame work takes a lot of patiece and time because you have to take the motor and transmision out take most of the body off and interior out and then heat the frame to mealting point then staighten it! after that put the parts back on and paint it!
