My steering wheel squeeks when I turn it. What is going on??

I own a 95 Dodge Dakota, need info?

There are several thing that can cause a steering wheel squeaks. First is the squeak from the inside of the vehicle like the steering wheel area, if it is its likely the steering column bearing/bushing need lubricating or it's rubbing (an adjustment might help). If not then is it squealing when you turn the steering wheel left or right, if so then first be sure the fluid level is full, make sure the belt is tight and after the engine is started turn the steering wheel left and right to purge out air (be sure to check for leaks first). If all is well you might have a suspension noise your hearing when you turn the wheel so observation of where and when it squeaks is important. If its a suspension noise you can try to use silicone spray on the bushings and if it quites down then it might be time to replace them, either way most things talked about (except a loose or worn belt and a fluid leak) won't hurt anything but can be very annoying. good luck and GOD Bless

How long do front brakes last on a 2005 ford focus?

It really depends on how long it has been making that particular sound. First thing I would do is check the power steering fluid. If it's low at all, refill it and I bet that sound will disappear
