My remote starter isn't working when I hit the button on my transmitter the light works?

I have also pressed the white reset button on the brain box and my elec. antenna goes up and it seems to have power to it however it wont start also all the wireing seems seem s to be ok. Could someone please help? Winters are very cold in Pennsylvania

I had that problem once. I removed the system thinking that it didn't work. When I had all the wiring out I found a fuse wrapped in black tape that was burned. I recommend tracing all the wiring under the dash and under the hood to make sure there are no fuses that can't be seen.

If it is a Viper remote start, go back to the folks who installed it. many from a few years ago to about 4 months ago were improperly installed due to a bad diagram from Viper.

Check the reciever when you hit the start button with a volt meter, see if you are even getting voltage out of it.
