My renault clio recently passed it's MOT, but it was reccommended I get the rear brushes replaced soon...?

If you have brushes in the rear of your car, you're in real trouble. If you're referring to bushings in the rear suspension and if it passed inspection, it would probably be OK until the next inspection. You'll probably have some bump going over rough road if the bushing are very bad as well as some steering instability as the car will try to wander somewhat on the road. I've never worked on a Renault but I would guess the bushings would cost $75 to $100 for all and labor, depending on where you take the car from $100 to $300.

usually they will be connected to the rear suspension and if has passed then dint worry the bits dint cost much but the labour will be crippling just drive when they get worse the start to clunk so plenty of warning
