I recently had a mechanic replace a leaking Power Steering hose. Now, whenever I come to a complete stop with my foot resting on the brake pedal; the car begins to vibrate. When I begin to accelarate, the vibration goes away. Could the P.S. Hose be loose?

a loose p.s. hose will not cause a rough run or vibration of the engine. however a loose or disconnected vaccum hose, loose engine mount or bad spark plug wire or plug will. on some vehicles they have to remove the front engine mount to get to the powersteering system. if it wasnt tightend all the way back up it will cause a vibration. as well as all that stuff is in a tight spot it is possible for accidental disconnection of hoses as well. start looking for loose hoses, and get someone to help you check for a loose mount. good luck and hope it helps.Should i put the cold air intake in my Honda civic 02 LX MT?

sounds like while the machanic was working, he may have knocked off a vacume hose some wareThe pwr strg is not going to be the cause of the engine idle concern... a Vacuum leak will most likely be the problem
