I have a 01 s-10 4.3 I took the distributer off mark it, fix the problem .?
Sorry to hear this! Try reading the information on a message board at the link below. Seems you're not the only one experiencing this problem . unless of course it is you who has posted the question on that forum! ; )Leaks in cars are a royal pain to find. It can come in at a window molding, and run down the inside of the frame and come out somewhere completely unrelated to where it entered. But if it's near the passenger wheel well, I'd check the door, windshield and the air intakes on the hood (fresh air), you a/c and heating duct system might have a leak.

Look near the passenger side on the firewall from under the hood. Do you see a small drip pan with standing water in it? If so, use a small screwdriver to carefully poke around in the bottom of it. If the drain is plugged, as soon as you clear the blockage, it should drain pretty quickly.
Other possibility is that you have a leaky heater core. Does the wet spot smell like antifreeze?
I have a 1958 Buick Super, After '58 it doesn't seem to exist anymore as a Buick Super.?
given the location, i will assume two things, 1) coolant level mysteriously drops and 2) when you turn on the defroster you get a sweet smell (like coolant),and the windshield keeps getting wet (inside). if these are true, i hate to say it but you have a ruptured heater core. a whole lot of fun. What do you call those mask things which go over your nose and mouth to protect against fumes/dust ?
I would say it's leaking from your windshield and running down behind the dash onto the floor.More Questions & Answers ...
