If all other gears work fine, you need to rebuild the transmission. the reverse clutch pack could possibly be bad. You may have a bad valve body, you could also have a seize planetary gear on the reverse assemblly. only way to find out is to rebuild the transmission.

If you have no reverse it probably needs new gears.
