Question:
please help. 03 Expedition when hardly steps gas loose ignition for half second.
the car has 4speed automatic and can feel it when it does changes gear sometimes loose ignition for half second.
when engine wormed up rpm stay on 500.(is this too low??)
took it to Good Years and changed fuel filter twice with air filter. and changed transmission fluid. also did computer diagnos and nothing came up.
it happens when passing other car and go faster right after drive slow.
for ex. when i almost reaches signal and it turned to green so i stepped on gas for increase speed there sudden calm appear for less than half second and goes as normal.
but today when i was waiting for traffic light my car lost ignition without any notice. like manual transmission vehicle.
i never changed spark plug or fuel pump.since new.
i usually drove car roughly so i'm thinking that transmission gears mass up??crack?
please someone help .. same experience , professional or mechanic. help me can f.

im think because you no have ignition for half second, no the transmission do that. maybe crank signal lost some time. maybe scanner? for me hard understand you question. what mean calm? im not being sure. try explain different.More Questions & Answers ...
