You'll never know unless you take it to several shops. It's impossible to venture a guess without seeing it, inspecting it firsthand, and understanding the quality of the repair you'll need.i own a shop, and normally a small size dent can cost anywhere from a 100 bucks all the way up up 300 and that's for a small one by the time they fix it and repaint it to match back up it could go a little more, because paint and supplies have went up a lot in the past year,so this kind of work can cost, but it shouldn't be too bad ,if i knew exactly how big the dent is i could do better with pricing it,good luck hope this helps.

what kind of dent? if it is smooth dent, not creased and it isn't to large, you can rub it out with dry ice. the ice is so cold that it makes the steel contract and the dent will pop out. that is something the body shops don't want you to know. be warned, do not handle dry ice with your hands. it will cause severe burns. My 95' Maxima turns itself off when i drive? if its on a door its free just take a bar and take of the inside of the door and pop out the dent, also they make inexpensive tools to take out dents you can go buy them at pep boysno one can tell you how much it will be without seeing the car.The best thing to do is take it to a few different shops and get estimates while you're there take a look around the shops and try to get a feel for them do seem clean and well equipped is the staff knowledgeable? Try to see some work they've done.Don't go with the cheapest shop but keep in mind a pricey estimate doesn't necessarily mean a quality repair
