Question:
I was rushing to get to somewhere, driving really fast (accelerating fast, stopping going etc.), and all of a sudden after I got off of a ramp, the engine in my car started booming. It is now definitely louder then it was before, and this was a drastic, sudden change. It just booms, it's louder, lower and doesn't sound good. I drove back, it seems to be driving fine, but the engine is just extremely loud. I drive a '98 4Runner with around 170,000 miles on it.

What is wrong with my left rear strut?
How much louder, she just may be in need of a simple oil change. Did you lose your muffler. You may need to replace you catalytic converter.
check your exhaust system, you may have a hole in your tailpipe.
not sure but possibly your muffler rusted out or came apart somehow. That would be my guess if your car is running fine and it happened while driving.
Can a tire really explode if you put too much air in it ?
Probably a hole in the muffler at least, if it didn't separate entirely...I have had my pocket bike for a year and i have had starting problems ever since.?
