Question:
Me again with the horn/break lights not working. I think you all were right, blown fuse. However I have tried to replace the fuse twice now (car not running) and it immediately blows the new fuse. What can I do?

Is it hard to replace the window motor in a 97 Grand Am?
If you are continually blowing fuses, then you have a direct short in that assembly. You must trace the line down and determine where the short is. Check the wiring along that line to find where the wire is touching the frame or body, and repair or replace the wire. How can you tell if your fuel injector isn't working properly?
Unfortunately, you have a dead short that is blowing the fuses...you'll need to take it to a shop that can put a test breaker on it and track where the short is...it might be the horn switch or the brake switch...or something else on the same circuit.More Questions & Answers ...
