Question:
I'm 15 and thinking about saving up for a bike. I'm 5'7 and 200 pounds. Would the Ninja 250 be a good bike for me? I like the look of the Honda Shadow a bit more, how does it compare to the Ninja?
What do chicks think of guys who look like Power Rangers on motorcycles?
Also, my parents are a bit hesitant about it. Are motorcycles really as dangerous as they think? I've been researching it and it seems most accidents are just from people doing stupid things.

Well Josh my boy who is also 15 loves his Ninja 250. He is only 135pounds though. At 200pounds you may want to get a Ninja 500 instead. Can running an exhaust with out baffles hurt a motor?
Both the 250 and 500 handle about the same and have almost the same "less-aggressive" riding posture. Both bikes handle real well for a beginner. But yet they have plenty of power to do freeway riding.
And motorcycles can be very dangerous for a person who is not attentive, or who pushes the window too much.
Take the MSF safety class and I guarantee you will be a better motorcyclist than half of those riding today.
My friend is selling a late '80's Honda 400cc sportbike. What's a fair price to ask?
I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar enough with the Honda Shadow to give any real info other than specs. People I've talked to seem to like it though.
91 Honda 200 fourtrax type II will not start or move?
here's a link to them on ebay. The ninja isn;t a bad bike the 250 is peppy and a good size for a starter bike
the shadow isnt bad either.. for taking your test on i would stay away from the cafe style ones they dont have the turning radius for the figure 8's its a lot harder ofr an inexperienced biker to take the test in a bike where the steering bairly turns
bikes are generally safe, its usually the other drivers out there that either dio not see you or don;t care that get you in trouble when you have to react quickly to a suv cutitng you off. But yes also some bikers do stupid things liek follow too close or pass on the inside or outside white line area. if you keep your distance and your attention on the road and on every other driver out there you will be fine
At age 15 you might be more apt to get into trouble on the Ninja. Even though it is only 250cc, it is quite zippy. I think you might be tempted more to go fast, so I'd recommend the Shadow. Should be able to pick one up used for a good price.
Can any 1 tell me where i can get used honda activa in chennai?
Good luck.
It's a great first bike, but then again, a Shadow in the 600 cc range or smaller is also a great first bike. Depends on which fits your body and personality more.
