Question:
I recently purchased a Honda Rancher ES 2 x 4. This is my first ATV and I would like to know about proper cold starting. The manual I recived with the ATV was kinda vauge about the choke positioning and such. Any other info for a first time ATV owner would be great too.

Just put it on full choke for a couple of pulls, and then reduce the amount of choke slightly until it starts. You won't hurt anything by using full choke, although you shouldn't run it with the choke on. Basically you just choke it till it warms up a little, you can tell that it's plenty warm if it is too hot to touch the cylinder. You don't need to wait for it to get that hot to start riding, as long as it is warm to the touch and the engine doesn't die when you put it in gear. Definitely don't get water in it, you can wreck the engine so bad that it is not serviceable.

How do I remove the ignition switch from a 94gsx600?
The 1st thing I learned was don't cross creeks where the water is deep enough to run into the air intake. If you do you can remove the spark plug and have someone pull your ATV till the piston pumps the water out. If your able this would also be a good time to change your engine fluids. :-) J/K Watch out for deep water.
