Is it worth restricting a suzuki freewind to 33bhp?

im 17 and want a restricted suzuki freewind how much do u think im looking at inc insurance (i have had a 50cc for a year with no claims if tht makes a difference) and will the performance of the bike after restriction be visible because i dont think they have much more than 33bhp anyway?

The problem is the freewind has 47 nominal horsepower at 7000 rpm, yet about 38 actual, figures for the very similar DR 650 are 43 claimed (at Flywheel) and 34 measured, so if you restrict it to 33 bhp it will barely pull the skin off a rice pudding.
A decent sealed rev limiter giving 6000 rpm would probably keep it under 33 bhp in the real world.

it,ll still cost you a fair bit to insure it.it,ll knock about 20mph off top speed i would think though the bike is slow enough as it is
