I have a 2006 Katana and I was wondering if I can ride with an after market exhaust without a jet kit?

Question:
I heard riding without the jet kit and with a new after market exhaust it will not run right.. is this true? What harm will it do to my bike. The after market exhaust is a Yoshimura slip on exhaust.

How much will it cost for my first oil change on 2007 harley davidson?

Depends on what type of aftermarket exhaust system you are putting one. If it's just a slip on then most likely no. If you go with a full system with air filter then probably yes. Check out this site www.katriders.com, loads of info on katanas, plus they are the nicest bunch you'll ever meet in a forum.

GSXR750, GSXR1000, or Yamaha R1? any complaints?

Generally when adding an after market exhaust you do change the jetting as well. If you are only adding a slip on and keeping the stock header you may be fine. Basically what will happen, if anything, is that your bike will run too rich or too lean. Pay attention to whether or not the bikes runs the same as it did before adding the slip on as far as throttle response. If it doesn't feel like it's running right just drop it off at the shop and let them jet it for you. It shouldn't be too expensive.
