I want to get myself a 2 wheel vehicle. I have a license with category 'A' entitlement. On the dvla website it says I can ride a vehicle up to 33bhp, does this mean up to 125cc?
can any one tell me if there any bike (motor) auctions in the South wales area?
Also, can I theoretically drive a vehicle that category 'A' entitles me to for the rest of my life without taking a test? If I were to buy a motorcycle or moped I'd probably wouldn't want to do a test any time soon.
Also, whats the top speed for such a motorcycle, can it be driven on motorways, and how about around Europe? I'm British living in Britain by the way. Thanks for your help, I don't know the first thing about cars and motorcycles, only like to drive them!

You can freely own anything you like. Riding it is another matter. Unless you have actually taken a motorcycle test, or the DVLA have made a horrible mistake (it does happen), you probably only have PROVISIONAL category A entitlement. That means you need to take a CBT (Compulsory Basic Training, valid only for 2 years) course before you can ride a motorcycle legally. Unless accompanied by a qualified instructor, you can't ride anything more powerful than a 125cc as a learner, which of course you can't ride on a motorway or out of the country until you have a full motorcycle licence. A 125cc learner-legal bike (some can be de-restricted, but that won't be legal for you as a learner) will be able to do about 60mph top. Get some lessons, take the test and get a proper bike licence. It's the only way, and it's worth it.it used to be 125 i have the same on mine best check you would prob need L plates as well
Contact your local DMV to find out what you are allowed to drive. In the USA to drive a mope/motorbike you have to have a special endorsement.

You can own any number you like. To drive one I think you have to take your DBT part 1 to legally drive a motor bike.
