if the problem is that the starter just clicks, the problem is possibly that the battery does not have enough charge to work the starter. the starter motor may be fine, just recharge the battery. (try this first)Who has seen Orange COunty CHoppers?
a stuck starter motor can sometimes be released by putting the car in gear (with the engine not running!) and pushing the car, just rocking it forward and backward. Also someone with skill and a soft hammer could tap the motor case and free it.
if you can hear the starter motor just whizzing around fast then I think it does need repair.

Probably the best thing to do is take it a specialist that can recondition it for you I don't think its expensive and I think you should be able to get a guarantee on it as well.Why bother ? This car is destined for the crusher anyway.
