Make sure you got a good premium fuel in it - could be a spark knock. I don't know Suzuki hardly at all. About the only time is see one is as it disappears going away but in the 70's I had a 650 Kawasaki that starter that knocking crap on acceleration. My problem turned out to be a cam chain tensioner took a dump. I replace the spring and follower and it shut up and started acting human again. Could be a rod knock.A crankshaft journal, piston pin, connecting rod, or bearing worn out.
To check -
--Remove the spark plugs.
--Turn the crankshaft to bring a piston up to TDC (top dead center).
--Keep turning until the piston is on it's down stroke. Then stop turning and hold the wrench.
--Slowly insert a screw driver into the sparkplug hole until you feel it "just" touch the top of the piston.
--Then push the screw driver. If there's any wear, you'll feel the piston move a tiny bit.
Like everyone said, GET IT FIXED.
