The Enfields are a fairly good motorcycle , certainly good value for the price. I personally love the nostalgic look even though it was made this year.The current Electra is a sturdy machine with the 1950s look and an electric start.( it also has the kick start).
What price would i be looking at to get a scooter sprayed?
I guess with the Enfield you look for old the old things you would look for with any bike, oil leaks, rust, wear and tear accident damage.Tyres and brakes. Look at the plugs , these can be a good idea of how the engine is running.

Generally the Enfield is fairly reliable and easy to fix if it breaks down.
Be careful when you do find one you like , ask the owner for service receipts and a log book , this will help show if it has been looked after.

Most importantly dont accept something broken as OK , you will be the one who has to pay for it to be fixed, that goes for tyres as well. unless you are prepared to negotiate a better price to cover those costs.

If you live in India you will never be short of spares...you can pick them up off the road where they have fallen off other enfields...LOL an oldy but a goody.
