Gs1100 carbs on a gs750?

Question:
I have a 81 suzuki gs750 that needs carbs, I have availability to carbs from a 83 gs 1100. I need to know if they are interchangeable without rejetting the 1100 carbs.

You would likely need to rejet but if I recall, the 1100 carbs are larger and will not fasten to the 750 rubber intake manifolds. The 1100 manifolds won't fit the 750 either...

Check out "old bike barn" They show GS 750 carbs for the 1981 in 31mm. The 1100 is from 31-37MM.
