Question:
Have to expound on that. He cleaned carbs, it has a stage 2 kit in it. New plugs, just sync'ed carbs. Oil change, etc. Still some hesitation (much less than before). He says it may be normal for the pod filters to create hesitation. Is this true? Or is it just not jetted properly? This guy is a pro, really reputable shop.

What are the new bikes going to hit the Indian Market soon?
It's probably not jetted correctly. I'm not familiar with "pods". They may not be compatible with the stage 2 jet kit. The stage 2 jet kit is probably calibrated to work with different air filters. The way your bike is set up now, may just need a few jet changes. Happens all the time. After installing jet kits, some fine tuning is needed to compensate for air density (distance above sea level) temperature in your riding area, etc. Send me your email address and I'll send you a "carb troubleshooting guide".what is the operating temperature of a 636 ninja?
When I got my ninja Jetted the shop asked me.... Are you sure you dont want to just put a sprocket because it is so hard to get those things jetted correctly and they will be faster but they are going to hesitate and run a little funny. Now im not saying its impossible to get that corrected but I know this happens all the time to bikes that have carberator work done to them. Try going back to the shop and having it rejetted.More Questions & Answers ...
