You pull the fuse and hook an ohmmeter up between the main wire and ground to see the short. Then you start disconnecting stuff until the short goes away to find out what's causing it.

Still have that pesky problem? What kind of bike do you have that only has one fuse? Does it blow as soon as you turn the key or is this an every once in awhile problem? Can you tell if its related to anything IE happens when you use the blinkers, or when you step on the brakes, or when you turn the bars left or right?
