How do you paint Fiberglass and make it stay?
at 5'3" yes a sportster would be fine, but dont be afraid to look into a superglide, also a low seat height, center pegs an twice as big of an engine while only adding about 155 pounds to the overall bike. if it is one you want to keep for a while.Any bike you can pick up off the road when you lay it down.
Which sportbike should I choose?
if ya can pick it up ya can ride it.
CBR 600 f (2000 model) Engine cuts out when main beam is on?
if the bike is a bit tall..put lowering plates on it..at the back
& have the springs in the forks cut down or compressed..
makes the seat hight just right!!!
I'd say the Sportster, a friend has one, she is two inches taller than you, but she handles the bike very well.
Any help plz my aprilia 135 has developed gear probs?
any of these will do, the final is up to u. 883 in either original or factory lowered, the 1200's in either the low or nightster. the low rider, fat boy, heritage soft tail, the deuce, or the road king.the heritage could be a 'poor man's road king'. it will have the saddle bags and windsheild already added from the factory.
Can you restrict a honda vfr 400 to a 125?
I'm a girl and I have my own Harley.I started out with a Sportster 1200 and then moved up to a bigger bike after one year of riding experience. I wanted to get an 883, but I was too tall. I think the best bike for you to start out on is a Sportster 883. It will make your riding experience easier (assuming that you are a beginner). I dropped my bike a few times when I was just starting out, and thank goodness I wasn't dealing with all the weight of the bigger bikes. As it was, my husband had to pick my bike up for me when I "dropped it".
Do you like a motorcycle rider?
Once you get your riding legs and feel comfortable controlling a smaller bike, you can jump up to a bigger bike. Any bike can be lowered for you, but you also have to be concerned about the weight. I ride a Heritage Classic, but I'm 5'8" and weigh 135 lbs.
What are the best mudder tire for my grizzly 660,2006?
To be honest, the only downfall with the Sportster 883, is that if you plan on transferring to a bigger bike later, you have to deal with selling the smaller bike, etc. If you think you will be satisfied with the smaller bike for an indefinite amount of time then it's a very good choice.
No matter what you decide, be safe and HAVE FUN!
Harley Sportster 883 Hugger is small enough but not too small has a low center of gravity and is low to the ground
1981 yahama 400cc what type of oil does it use and how much does it hold?
I am 5 ft 4 in and I ride a Heritage Softail Classic. The seat is low and the weight is low. It does not get "flighty" on the road like some bikes do.How to make mileage go backwards on a motorcycle?
you are taller than my friends wife. she is 4'-11" and rides a tank shifted 1942 harley 45" as well as a 1969 shovelhead. just set up the seat as low as possible & lower the suspension. My sister is 5'3" tall and she found that the 883 was the best fit for her. The good thing about the 883 is that it is in the lower price range. And as you develop more skill ( this is assuming you are newer to riding) you can have a 1200 kit installed for more power.
My best suggestion would be to go to the Harley dealer and sit a few. Pick the one that is the most comfortable for you.
check out the Dyna Low Rider. it is a bit more bike than the Sportsters, but won't beat you up on a little longer rides.
