the jetting from the factory is pretty good for normal applications, but to adjust your rev or idle screw you need to warm up the bike, then turn the idle screw in or out to the desired rev.
then you need to adjust the air screw. after the bike is all warmed up, and while running, turn the air screw in all the way, the bike will want to die, but dont let it. turn the throttle open a little, then turn the air screw out till it starts to run better. when the engine starts to run fatter, you passed the proper adjustment, simply turn the air screw back in a little. most bikes run the air screw out 1 1/2 turns...
