if anything, get one with both. that way if you forget to charge the electric start you can pullstart it. if they were both identical other then the starters then the pull start would most likely be a bit better this is only because of a very slight change in the weight . other wise they would be the exact same .Forward Controls. Why do you use them?

Electric all the way! I just got a new 2007 Yamaha C3, the electric start works flawlessly! It fires right up at the mere push of a button (and holding the brake on). As a backup, there is a kick starter that I have not yet used.Get the pull starter. Alot less maintainence and not hard to pull over a 49cc engine. No battery, no generator, less wires, all together, less hassel. Plus the cheap 49cc scooters, like pocket rockets, the starters only work for like a week.
