But, it's a substantial investment to make without it being agreed upon by both of you. I suppose it depends on your 'spending' expections of one another. I wouldn't consider spending that kind of money without my husband being on board.

OK besides the owning issue. Do you already hold a MC license endorsement? If not,then befoer ya buy take a Motorcycle Safety Foundation endorsed riders course. They will teach you the correct way to ride and avoid accidents. The best thing is with their endorsement you can forgo the state rider's test. (One foot down and ya flunk) Then you can figure out what kind of bike ya can handle. I took one back in Oct and they taught this ol' dog some new tricksno get one any way if he wants he can ride b.i.t.c.h.

NO! I have lots of friends that ride without there significant other and there should be no problem with it. Just always make sure to wear all your protective gear. ( Especially Helmet and Gloves) Road Rash is not fun. Enjoy!
