01 cr125,replacing the clutch, should I replace everything or just friction plates?

Question:
I have a 2001 Honda cr125, and I'm going to rebuild the engine, so I figured i might as well go all out and replace anything that needs it. So I'm going to put new parts in the clutch also, and I wanted to know if I should just replace the friction plates, or everything, the friction plates, steel plates, and springs. The clutch works just fine, but considering my engine isn't running to well and needs rebuild, I'm planning on working on the clutch also, and just had this question in mind. and it would save money if I only have to replace the friction plates also, that's my main concern. Any help is much appreciated!! Thank you!!

IF YOU'RE IN THERE, SAVE YOURSELF SOME GRIEF AND REPLACE ALL SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO BACK IN.

Why are vespas used so much in italy?

I would replace everything myself as the labor to do it later is intensive/costly. You have it all apart now, why not? Buy a centerforce clutch if one is made for the application.

Why do you have to park at a 90 degree angle when parking a motorcycle? Thought regular would be safer.?

If it works well, and you are concerned about cost, leave it alone. If you do decide to do the clutch anyway, you should do it all. Make it fresh. If you only do 1/2 now, you WILL do the other 1/2 later.

Where is the oil plug on a honda 2001 xr 200?

If you do the friction plates you do the steel plates, you don't do one and not the other, they come together. Springs last forever, but if you do get new ones, stay with OEM, don't get barnettes or anything like that. Remember to soak your friction plates in oil overnight.
