What style of bike are you after - cruiser or rocket? and how tall are u? you could buy a used Ninja250 for less than $2500 that's been well taken care of. From my own experience I can tell you: the ninja250 an excellent female starter (I'm 5'2") and now ride a yamaha R6. Let me know what I can do to help.
