kawasaki dirtbike?

To Old Cynic; from the late 50s to early 70s, your brit crap couldn't touch the sportster and as far as your knowledge of Harley, it couldn't fill a thimble made for a midget. They corner well; you just have to be at least an intermediate rider. When you're able to get rid of your training wheels, step up and try a Harley. You won't be sorry.

As to the oil tanks; the ST (soft tail) and Sportster frames are the only ones that have the separate oil tank; all others have the integral oil tank in the motor.

Plenty of other bikes have seperate oil tanks, some 4 stroke moto crossers use the frame to store the oil. Its just a question of space.
By the way Harleys are rubbish, they dont go round corners (the fun bit of motorcycling) and are just for posers. When did a Harley last win any major race or championship ? (Other than one for grossness or pose value). Nasty ugly heavy crap. have you ever looked inside a harley engine? Hideous castings, and crap engineering. They needed Porsche to re-engineer them to make them go (sort of ) properly. If you want a bike that does what bikes should do (go fast, handle well, stop well, be reliable buy Japanese)

Runs cooler, the oil flows faster, more horse power with dry sump. Was designed by drag racer, in the 70's.
