What is the mix ratio for a kawasaki 100 2 stroke 1973 motorcycle?
One great thing about bikes is that they don't correspond to cars: people buy Ducatis thinking they're 'two-wheeled Ferraris' and then they can't stand getting blown away by a Suzuki. Is it legal to use my army kevlar helmet while riding a motorcycle?
The characteristics I'd associate with the major brands are:
Motorbikes, why do people pull stunts on them??
Honda: well made, well finished, likely to have unusual engineering that's 'different' (such as V-4 engines).
Kawasaki: big horsepower, solid, the Japanese brand that has the biggest 'cult', green! Possibly heavy.
How do you cure condensation inside a motorcycle helmet?
Yamaha: trying to be Honda, very reliable, practical. Often the class leaders in dirtbikes.
Suzuki: good sportsbikes, but tend to be the weakest brand in other fields (cruisers, dirt bikes).
BMW: tourers mainly. Low technology engines. Love adding extra gizmos (and weight!). Undeserved reputation for reliability. Often police bikes, thanks to Nazi history.
Ducati: the bikes the girls like. Grossly unreliable, but much better recently. All non-sportsbike Ducatis are terrible, mainly due to lack of reliability. Those thinking they are buying 'ultimate performance' will be disappointed when Japanese bikes blow them away. Not bad though.
What BMW or Motto Guzzi exhausts will fit a Honda CX 500?
Harley-Davidson: an image. A tank badge. Only appeal to people who know nothing about bikes, and therefore only bought to impress the neighbours.
I have a 96 honda f3. the stock rear tire is a 160. can i fit a 190 tire.?
Moto Guzzi: a bit of a joke. Combine the unreliability of Ducati with the low technology of Harley Davidson.
Bajaj Pulsar 200 DTSI or Royal Enfield Thunderbird?
Triumph: if Ducati is too Italian, uncomfortable and unreliable, and Japanese is too common, get a Triumph. Often great-looking, conservative engineering, never the best but always close behind.
-the best for everyday bike.. Honda/Suzuki
-performance and good price - Suzuki/Kawasaki
-elegance and sporty - BMW
-classy and expensive - Moto Guzzi
-top of the range performance - Ducati
The ultimate 1000cc bike for me has to be Ducati. If you want 600cc, probably the Suzuki Katana.
Why is it not illegal to have a bike which is crazy loud?
Opinons will vary, as almost all brands are pretty reliable these days. The best way to figure out which ones are best in class is to read some motorcycle magazines and see what they pick. Note that these will change from year to year. Trying to compare bikes with cars is a shifting abstraction, as the two machines are designed and built completely different. Many might even debate your selections for cars in the categories.
For everyday use, one of the top rated models has been either the Suzuki V-Strom or SV650, Honda Nighthawk or Triumph Sprint ST.
Have a 1983 honda nighthawk and it has a problem keeping a batteries charged.?
For performance and price, the Yamaha R6 or Honda CBR are bargain performers.
What is the ngk sparkplug bkr6es for?
For sporty elegance, the BMW R-series is hard to beat. Choose the model which best fits your riding style.
Classy & Expensive? Harley CVO series bikes, including Road Glides are top of the line production bikes with impeccable finish and detail work. They're not cheap.
Need help sport bike or cruiser.?
Top of the range performance? For big bikes above 1000cc, either a Honda Blackbird or Suzuki Hayabusa. For the 600 class, the Triumph 675 Daytona is currently the performance leader according to several motorcycle magazines.
I have a 98 yamaha r1 do u need to rejet the bike with a micron slip on.?
Ultimate 600? I'd go for the aformentioned Daytona 675.
Ultimate 1000? Probably the Ducati 1098 S Tricolore.
-Honda...Id own a toy over a ford anyday..already had my troubles with Ford.
-All 4 /Suz & Yam on price (you cant put performance & price in same category with bikes)
-Suzuki (you could add Ducks and such)
-Honda & Harley
-All 4 rate the same; they are in competition with one another on the race track.
Is there any biker friendly bars in Lewis Delaware?
All 4 means the Big Four: Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and yamaha (Jap Made). Ducati and other euro made stuff not in my survey.
Anyone heard of a biker club called the outlaws? what they like, where are they in the UK?
best for everyday - buell city x.performance and good price - honda cbr 600 rr
Do the KX kawasaki 85 and the KX kawsaki 100 have the same power?
elegance and sporty - bmw k1200s
Need Help Switching from Sportbike to Cruiser?

How much money should i sell my used 2003 Honda CR 85R for?
top of the range performance - no obvious choice, in my opinion.
I am looking for a new bike, either the Yamaha V-Star Custom or Honda 599. Suggestions?
best 600cc - yamaha r6.
Whats the purpose of an exhaust tip?
best 1000cc - gsxr-1000, hands down.
What is the best way to break in brand new motorcycle tires?
-the best for everyday car.. ford \ toyota Any of the Jap "Big Four" bikes would be good for every day reliability. I assume you mean "within a budget", ie "cheap".-performance and good price - honda \ audi OH man I bet Audi loves being classified with Honda, what a joke. How can you compare those 2 manufacturers. I suppose yoou mean a cheap crotch rocket, then go buy a cheap crotch rocket, Kawi, Honda, whatever.
-elegance and sporty - mercedes The new Goldwings are kinda sporty looking, depends on how you want to define "sporty". And elegance too, to a certain extent. To me motorcycles in general are sporty. Goldwings or the BMW large tourers, the LT bikes.
-classy and expensive -bentley I'd go along with the guy that said Guzzi, also alot of the old classic bikes if you want to throw old bikes in the mix, like an old Indian, old Harleys from the 40s and 50s and even 60s
-top of the range performance - ferrari..Jap superbikes, Ducati, MV Agusta, Munch 2000,
and after all what d u reckon is the ultimate 600cc and 1000cc
bike.
Not sure on the 600cc. To me the ultimate 1000 wouldn't get many other votes, the BMW K1
